Teenage Cruelty [1]
I'm curled up in a ball-like shape, trying to keep my face hidden. My hands are over my ears blocking out sound so all I hear is an inaudible babble. I wish it wasn't there at all. They were all looking at me, staring into my soul and each one sent an insult my way.
With this memory I feel my face grow a warm blush and my eyes prickle with tears. I run my hand over my bald head, as it has become a nervous habit now.
